How we work
SuperBlimp takes on projects where direction, concept, and the visual world matter as much as the finish. We work best where the studio can contribute creatively from the start, shape the work with a clear point of view, and carry it through to the final piece.
The studio works in three areas.
Commercial films for brands
Campaign films, launch pieces, and brand stories where direction, concept, and the visual world of the piece are part of what the client is hiring for. SuperBlimp leads these projects creatively from concept and design through to final film, with a senior freelance team assembled around the specific craft each piece needs.
Recent commissions include films for DJI, Mizuno, Silver Cross, and Elanco.
Product and technology films
Cinematic films that turn complex products, systems, and technical ideas into clear, ambitious visual storytelling. The work spans launch films, brand explainers, and premium product communication, treated with the same directorial care as commercial campaigns.
Original films and IP
Authored shorts and original story worlds developed in house through the studio’s directorial voice. SuperBlimp self initiates films and develops projects with partners who share the creative ambition.
Recent original work includes Playgrounds and Last Call. Monster’s Whisper is currently in development.
Craft contributions
SuperBlimp also takes on selected craft and visual effects work for films led by directors, agencies, and post houses we have long standing relationships with. This is technical work brought to projects where the studio’s craft can contribute meaningfully to someone else’s vision.
