Galderma | Satisfying Brand Loops
Galderma needed centrepiece animations for their expo stand, a series of looping films that would represent the full breadth of their brand portfolio at scale, in a physical environment, in front of industry decision-makers.The work needed to do three things at once: feel premium enough for medical and aesthetic audiences, hold up at large-format projection in a high-traffic space, and keep each sub-brand visually distinct without breaking the family. From prescription dermatology to mass-market skincare, every product had its own audience, its own personality, and its own visual cues to honour.
The approach
Rather than building one system and reskinning it twelve times, we treated each brand as its own miniature universe. Each loop is anchored on a single hypnotic mechanical idea — something the eye wants to follow all the way back to where it began.
Aklief became a tiled pool with a Newton’s-cradle pendulum carving its logo into the surface of the water.
Oracea became an isometric architectural landscape rendered in soft teal and copper, the product gliding through the world it lives in.
Restylane became a marble runway threaded with gold and a single confident ribbon of pigment.
Cetaphil became a weightless swarm of jars, caught mid-orbit against a clean white sky.
The unifying thread is craft, not template. Considered lighting. Tactile materials. Restrained motion. No tricks, no clutter: one beautiful idea per brand, executed cleanly enough that it survives being looped forever.
The craft
Every loop is a true seamless loop, built frame-perfect so the join is invisible. Materials, lighting and camera work were tuned per brand to match each product’s existing visual identity while still feeling unmistakably part of one family. Render quality was pushed for large-format projection — meaning the same files held up beautifully when repurposed at any scale afterward.
The second life
Originally commissioned for Galderma’s expo stand, the loops have since gone on to serve as a content library for paid social, organic, retail screens, and internal communications — proof that work built for a physical activation can keep earning long after the stand comes down.
