Johnnie Walker Blue Label x Perfect Moment
SuperBlimp supplied the visual effects for Johnnie Walker Blue Label's Cobalt Series film, directed by Ilan Lampl and produced by Creative Blood. Starring Priyanka Chopra, the film moves from the Swiss Alps to the edit suite, capturing the moment where high-altitude après-ski meets the world of luxury whisky.SuperBlimp's role was the invisible craft: impossible zooms, seamless whisky pours, frames-within-a-frame, and the kind of finish that lets the story carry itself without the VFX ever pulling the viewer out of it.
The work
The Cobalt Series brief called for a global luxury film in the Johnnie Walker Blue Label register: cinematic, international, and built around a single A-list talent moving through worlds that needed to feel real but also slightly heightened. Ilan Lampl’s direction grounded the film in beautiful practical photography across alpine and edit-suite locations. Our role was the invisible work that holds a piece like this together. The impossible zoom that stitches two locations into one continuous moment. The whisky pour that lands too perfectly to have happened on the day. The frame-within-a-frame transition that makes the film feel composed rather than captured. None of these are show-off CG shots. They’re the small, careful interventions that let a luxury film read as effortless, which is the hardest register of all to land.
